Biography and Education

I teach introductory biology, ecology, and conservation biology. My classrooms are student-centered, active learning environments. I strive to create an inclusive environment where students can thrive.

I am also interested in best practices for teaching and learning evolution, specifically how students understand and learn natural selection and genetic drift.
