Chancellor Domenico Grasso shared UM-Dearborn's limited return-to-campus plan, new appointments, major gifts and more at the Feb. 18 meeting.
At the Feb. 18 U-M Board of Regents meeting, Chancellor Domenico Grasso provided a progress report on the campus’s limited return to campus plan for the winter semester, shared news of Vice Chancellor for Business Affairs Bryan Dadey joining the leadership team, acknowledged and thanked Michigan Medicine for including the UM-Dearborn community in the vaccination plans and shared news of recent College of Business and College of Engineering and Computer Science rankings.
These UM-Dearborn items were covered at the February 18 U-M Board of Regents meeting. At the meeting, the following personnel actions were approved:

Armen Zakarian, vice provost for research, effective January 1, 2021 through December 31, 2022 (also chair, Department of Industrial and Manufacturing Systems Engineering, and professor of industrial and manufacturing systems engineering, with tenure, CECS).
