Regents Roundup: October 2021
The Board of Regents approved new UM-Dearborn appointments, acknowledged major campus gifts and more at the Oct. 21 meeting of the U-M Board of Regents.
Chancellor Domenico Grasso provided the following campus updates at the public meeting. He shared news of the ribbon cutting ceremony of the ELB, the recent National Science Foundation grant for assisting underserved students in STEM fields, the “Walk and Roll Junior Challenge” at Dearborn Public Schools, and shared the Go Blueprint for Success executive quarterly summary.
The Regents approved the following committee appointment and personnel actions.
Citizens Advisory Committee
Mary A. Zatina, general manager, WDET public radio. Effective October 1, 2021 through September 30, 2025.
New appointments of instructional staff represented by the Lecturers’ Employee Organization.
