COB online graduate programs ranked second in state

UM-Dearborn College of BusinessUniversity of Michigan-Dearborn’s College of Business (COB) has once again been recognized as having two of the country’s top online graduate programs. According to recent rankings by U.S. News & World Report, COB’s online MBA program ranks second in the state of Michigan—up a spot from last year—and 44 nationally. The college also ranks second in the state and 46 nationally for “Best Online Graduate Business Programs, Non-MBA.”

“The College of Business continues to be noticed on a national scale because we understand students’ desire for both flexible programs and strong academics as they work to be successful in their academic and career development,” said Raju Balakrishnan, dean of COB.

UM-Dearborn’s College of Business is home to several nationally recognized programs, where students gain valuable hands-on experience, while working alongside faculty members and business professionals.

The new honors add to the college’s list of recent national recognitions. In October, Bloomberg Businessweek ranked the university’s part-time MBA program as second in the state and 68 nationally. U.S. News & World Report ranked COB’s undergraduate business program as a top program earlier this fall and The Princeton Review named the College of Business a “Best Business School.”

U.S. News & World Report based its most recent online graduate programs rankings on statistical data provided by the participating institutions, as well as a peer assessment that asked business school deans and top distance-learning, higher-education academics to rate the other programs.
