University of Michigan-Dearborn’s College of Business (COB) again has been recognized for having one of the country’s top online graduate management programs. According to recent rankings by U.S News & World Report, the program is second in the state of Michigan and 21st among 148 programs nationally.

“It’s always exciting to be recognized on a national level for providing our students with a strong education,” said Lee Redding, Interim Dean, COB. “We will continue to offer our students a quality education that prepares them for careers in business, both locally and worldwide.”

The new honor adds to the college’s list of national recognitions in recent years.

In September, U.S. News & World Report ranked COB as one of the top three undergraduate business programs in the state of Michigan. UM-Dearborn’s part-time M.B.A. program has been recognized for the past four years by the publication.

“To appear on the list recognizes the high-quality business education that the College of Business offers and serves to further build the reputation of the college,” Redding said.

UM-Dearborn’s College of Business is home to several nationally recognized programs where students can gain valuable hands-on experience, while working alongside faculty members and business professionals in a variety of areas.

U.S. News & World Report based the online graduate programs rankings on statistical data provided by the participating institutions, as well as a peer assessment that asked business school deans and top distance learning higher education academics to rate the other programs.
