Year in Review

Year in ReviewThe first month of the semester has been very active at UM-Dearborn. This September we welcomed a record number of students to campus; we hosted prominent guest speakers; and we broke ground on a student-housing option that will open next fall.

Before we get too far into the fall semester I want to pause and reflect on the previous academic year. Over the past year, the university has shown a great deal of creativity and leadership. Our students have demonstrated determination and an entrepreneurial spirit, as they continued to pursue their academic and community passions. Likewise, our faculty pushed the limits with unique research endeavors and provided our students with a quality education that is distinctly Michigan.

There is so much to be proud of at UM-Dearborn year after year. To help chronicle faculty, staff and student accomplishments, unique events held on campus and metropolitan impact realized by the university, we have created a Year in Review report. This report is meant to highlight a few of the interesting and unique stories that helped shape our campus community during the last academic year.

The report can be accessed in a variety of different formats.

A dedicated webpage has been created that allows you to click on the individual stories in the report.

A flipbook has been created to allow you to read the report on your computer or tablet. There is a toolbar along the bottom of the flipbook that allows you to enlarge print and turn the pages.

A PDF version of the report is also available on the webpage that can be printed and shared with others who have an interest in UM-Dearborn.

This report is a rewarding look back and reflection on a very successful year. I look forward to all of the exciting accomplishments and achievements in the years ahead.

Thank you for all that you do to make UM-Dearborn a great place to learn, work and celebrate.
