'Difference Makers' TV ads win high honors

UM-Dearborn’s Difference Makers television commercials recently received the Higher Educational Advertising Gold Award in the category of Television Advertising/Series.

The Educational Advertising Awards, which is sponsored by the Higher Education Marketing Report, is the largest educational advertising awards competition in the country. This year, more than 2,500 entries were received from more than 1,000 colleges, universities and secondary schools from all 50 states and several foreign countries.

The judging panel includes higher education marketers, advertising creative directors, advertising and marketing professionals as well as the editorial board of the Higher Education Marketing Report.

UM-Dearborn’s Difference Makers media campaign was created by the campus’s marketing department and Real Integrated (formerly Solomon Friedman Advertising).
