Men's health event slated for Oct. 1

September 25, 2013

Do you have health questions or concerns? You're not alone. Men often question their risk of prostate cancer, or whether or not their blood pressure is at a safe level.

In an effort to help UM-Dearborn male faculty and staff answer these questions in a safe, confidential environment, Staff Senate and the Chancellor’s Office have teamed up to organize a men's health event.

"Men are not bullet proof!" will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on October 1 in Mardigian Library, Room 1212.

Dr. Amarnath Rambhatla, a urologist from Oakwood Hospital & Healthcare System, will be on hand to help answer health-related questions.

Pizza and pop will be served, and those who attend could win various door prizes, including U-M football tickets.

Please RSVP by September 27 by clicking here, or by contacting Ann Phillips at [email protected].
