Multi-state meeting on college access comes to campus

Next month, UM-Dearborn's Fairlane Center will host the Midwest meeting of the National College Access Network, a one-day conference focused on policy, advocacy, and networks in the college access and success field.

Members of the campus community are invited to register for the April 14 conference at www.collegeaccess.org. The event, which begins at 8 a.m. and runs till 3:30 p.m., is free for NCAN members and $50 for the general public.

Chancellor Daniel Little is one of the scheduled speakers. He will talk about engaging returning workers in higher education.

"It is exciting that UM-Dearborn was specifically asked and selected to host this multi-state meeting because of our commitment to and involvement in college access initiatives," said Christopher Tremblay, executive director of enrollment management at UM-Dearborn.
