E-book collections
ScienceDirect
ScienceDirect, a leading database of articles from journals in science and technology, now includes more than 400 new full-text e-books, reference books, handbooks and more. The newest additions were published from 2008 to 2010 by publishers such as Academic Press, Butterworth-Heinemann, Elsevier Science, Morgan Kaufmann and others.

Wiley Online Library
Wiley Online Library (formerly Wiley Interscience) provides coverage of journals in subjects such as business, medicine, education, engineering, science, law and the social sciences. The database also includes access to more than 10,500 e-books, and a new set of e-books published since 2008 was recently added.
Database updates

Alternative Press Index
Alternative Press Index provides a subject index to alternative, radical and left periodicals. More than 300 titles such as New Labor Forum, Social Policy: Organizing for Social & Economic Justice, Peace Review, and New Left Review are included. Articles indexed cover the theories and practices of socialism and revolution, ecology, democracy and anarchism, feminism and organized labor, indigenous peoples and gays/lesbians. API coverage is both international and interdisciplinary and begins in 1991.

Toxline
Toxline covers journal articles, monographs, technical reports, theses and other literature in all areas of toxicology, including chemicals and pharmaceuticals, pesticides, environmental pollutants, and mutagens and teratogens. The database is produced by the U.S. National Library of Medicine and provides bibliographic citations and abstracts from the core journal literature in toxicology, with coverage beginning in 2000.

RILM Abstracts of Music Literature
RILM Abstracts of Music Literature is a comprehensive international index to writings about music. It includes bibliographic information about articles, books, bibliographies, reviews, and other writing related to fields such as ethnomusicology, popular music, dance, music therapy, acoustics, jazz, the psychology of music and others. Coverage begins with 1967.

Philosopher’s Index
Philosopher’s Index provides indexing and abstracts for books and articles in philosophy and related interdisciplinary fields, including metaphysics, philosophy of science, ethics, philosophy of religion, political philosophy and others. The database includes more than 450,000 records and coverage begins with 1940.

PAIS International
PAIS (Public Affairs Information Service) International contains citations to journal articles, books, government documents, statistical directories, research and conference reports, publications of international agencies, etc. Subjects include international coverage of agriculture, culture and religion, banking and finance, health conditions, transportation, media and politics. Coverage includes more than 120 countries since 1972. Newspapers and newsletters are not indexed.
