ASME Digital Library  

ASME Digital Library now includes online access to e-books published by ASME since 1993. Topics include design and manufacturing, emerging technologies, engineering management, heat transfer, and tribology, among others.

SIAM E-Books  

SIAM E-Books is a collection of e-books from the Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics (SIAM).

Coverage includes materials in applied mathematics from a wide range of fields such as science, engineering, statistics/probability, data mining, computational science, economics/finance, and more.

Database updates

African Writers Series  

African Writers Series provides access to key works from the highly acclaimed Heinemann's "African Writers Series.” This series provides novels, poetry, short stories, and drama from African literature of the 20th century. It covers such authors as Nelson Mandela, Chinua Achebe, Tayeb Salih, Steve Biko, Ama Ata Aidoo, Nadine Gordimer, and Buchi Emecheta. Author biographies are included.

CINAHL Plus with Full Text  

CINAHL Plus with Full Text is the world's most comprehensive nursing and allied health research database, providing full text for more than 770 journals, some back to 1937. It also provides full text for more than 275 books/monographs, and provides indexing for more than 4,600 additional journals from the fields of nursing and allied health dating back to 1981.

CQ Press Political Reference Suite

CQ Press Political Reference Suite provides access to a wide range of CQ publications. CQ Almanac is included along with directories, encyclopedias, handbooks, compendia, yearbooks, etc. Examples include: "Encyclopedia of Political Science," "The Contemporary Middle East," "Guide to Political Campaigns in America," "Historic Documents Series," "International Military Alliances," "Vital Statistics on the Presidency," and many more. Search all publications at one time, or browse or search each individually.

Filmmakers Library Online  

Filmmakers Library Online contains award-winning documentaries with relevance across the curriculum — race and gender studies, human rights, globalization and global studies, multiculturalism, international relations, criminal justice, the environment, bioethics, health, political science and current events, psychology, arts, literature, and more. The database provides access to streaming of entire films, as well as the ability to make short video clips for use in the classroom or other presentations.

World Scholar: Latin America & the Caribbean includes a rich collection of primary source documents from archives in the United States and Europe.
