The University of Michigan will host a special 50th anniversary Peace Corps celebration in October. President John F. Kennedy announced the creation of the Peace Corps in a speech on the Ann Arbor campus. All UM-Dearborn and UM-Flint faculty, staff and students are invited to attend various events scheduled to take place in Ann Arbor beginning next month.
