Urban Campus Communities held a ribbon cutting ceremony at The Union at Dearborn this afternoon, 11 days before students move into the complex.

Dearborn Mayor Jack O’Reilly, officials from UCC and Ford Land, Student Government President Wedad Ibrahim and Chancellor Daniel Little officially “opened” the new student housing apartment complex.

Members of the community and media had the opportunity to tour the apartments, fitness facilities and UM-Dearborn’s leased space – The Victors’ Den.
