SUBJECT: Important updates: Registration, Financial Information, and Staying Connected and Healthy

Dear Student,

As our campus community continues to manage the impact of the global coronavirus pandemic, the University has been working quickly and diligently to provide you information about a range of issues. Below, please find important updates about registration, financial changes and resources and — above all — staying connected and healthy.

Registration:

Registration for Summer 2020 and Fall 2020 will continue as planned, with Summer 2020 courses delivered in a remote delivery format (with CASL Online Course fees waived). Summer classes will begin on Monday, May 4th. Additional registration resources can be found here.

Financial Information:

Winter 2020 balances will now be due May 1 and no late fees will be assessed. This will allow additional time for you to pay and enable you to register for Summer or Fall courses on schedule. Access Self-Service to manage your student account.

To better support students experiencing financial challenges:

A new emergency resources page provides options to request financial support:

The Immediate Relief Funding form for unexpected financial hardships The Get to Graduation form if you need assistance in meeting current educational expenses

New virtual Financial Aid counseling: Submit Request to set up an appointment

Staying Connected and Healthy

This transition isn’t easy for any of us! Our CAPS (Counseling and Psychological Services) office has developed resources for students to help you practice good self-care, manage difficult transitions and de-stress.

While we are not on campus together, we hope you’ll continue to stay connected to our community through a variety of virtual programs designed to help you stay engaged. Starting tomorrow, Monday, March 23, you’ll have the opportunity to connect with peers, staff and faculty in the many programs we’re offering -- virtual social hour, film discussion, meditation hours and more. Check out our website for more information.

VictorsLink, our student life portal, continues to be a hub of activity and engagement where you’ll find lots of great information and resources.

As our community navigates this unprecedented territory, we maintain our firm commitment to support you on your path to graduation. We encourage you to reach out and use the many available campus resources, and we are ready to provide guidance and help with anything you may need. Please feel free to reach out and call on us.
