Biography and Education

Rick Robinson, Ph.D. is an applied practicing cultural anthropologist. He received his graduate degree from Wayne State University. Dr. Robinson, working as a practicing anthropologist for most of his career and has concentrated on goal driven research and problem-solving in the urban environment.

Dr. Robinson has created a broad range of public policy in economic development and community development. He has extensive experience working with the Detroit, Michigan and international business and union communities in negotiations, organizational change, diversity and advisor to decision makers. Professor Robinson is proud of the fact that he has a history of engagement with social justice issues.
