Lynn joined the START Advising team in 2016 where she found her niche in working with first-year students at the University of Michigan - Dearborn. Although she spent a year away to be with her family in Pittsburgh, she was excited to return to START Advising in 2019! She has a silly and light-hearted demeanor and always wants to go the extra mile to help her students feel welcome and supported. She feels that her graduate training in higher education has been helpful in her understanding of how to nurture student success, and she aims to see each and every one of her students thrive in pursuing academic, career, and personal goals. Lynn majored in English as an undergraduate student and values liberal arts education. She feels that her education and values help her to recognize the unique needs of College of Arts, Sciences, and Letters students. When she’s not off somewhere cuddling her adorable Shih-Tzu pups and spending time with her family, you’ll find that Lynn’s door is always open and that she’s eager to help you succeed!
