Wade McCree Scholarship
The University of Michigan-Dearborn is an active participant in this program designed to motivate and challenge students to achieve their fullest potential during their four years in high school. Students entering the 9th grade are selected to participate.
Amount of the Award
Full-tuition scholarships are awarded annually which cover tuition and selected fees at the University of Michigan-Dearborn. Students are required to be enrolled at least half-time (6 credit hours). The award amount will be adjusted by the amount of Federal Pell Grant eligibility: the two awards will be combined to fully cover tuition and fees.
Full-tuition scholarships (in-state rate) are renewable for six semesters, three years (a total maximum of 8 terms awarded) or the completion of a bachelor's degree, whichever occurs first. Students must maintain a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 2.0 on a 4.0 scale and meet the standards of satisfactory academic progress required by all financial aid recipients.
