In the User ID field, enter your UM credentials (uniqname and password) that are used to access other university resources (email, Canvas, etc.).
Click the Sign In button.
Select Student from the menu.
Select Student Records from the menu.
Select Request Printed Transcript from the menu.
The Transcript Request Address page is used to indicate where the transcript should be sent. There are four options to indicate the address:
External College Code – This field is where a student may enter the college code of the institution that should receive the transcript. If the college code is unknown, the Look Up College Code hyperlink can be used. Please review the address on the Select Transcript Type page (the next page) to ensure the school address has the correct information. If not, make changes as needed.
One of Your Addresses – This field is used when a student wants the transcript to be sent to his/her address.
Internal College – This field is used when a student wants the transcript to be sent to a UM-Dearborn Academic Unit.
The issue to – This field is where a student may enter the name of a person or office to which the transcript should be addressed.
If the address is available, it is recommended that the Issue to field be used. It is much easier and user-friendly.
Click the Continue button
The Select Transcript Type page is used to specify the type of transcript to be printed. The Transcript Type is required. UM-Dearborn used only one transcript type; please select Web Requested Transcript.
Name and address information will default to this page if the information was entered on the Transcript Request Address page. Address information may be added or updated as necessary.
Click the Continue button.
The Transcript Request Options page includes four (4) options:
Number of Copies – This field is where a student enters the number of transcripts he/she would like printed. A student may request up to 20 transcripts per day.
Official Transcripts – This checkbox identifies if a student would like an official or unofficial transcript. Yes = official, No = unofficial.
In Progress Cut-off Term – This drop-down list identifies the last term for which a student wants “in-progress” work to appear on the transcript. Students may choose the default value or None, or select a term from registrations that have not been graded.
Print Transcripts – This drop-down list identifies when the transcript should be printed.
As soon as possible – send right away
Hold for grades – wait until term grades are posted to the transcript
Hold for degree – wait until the degree is posted to the transcript
Delivery Method – This drop-down list identifies how the transcript will be delivered; Pick-up in the office or Standard Mailing.
Click the Continue button.
The Transcript Request Summary page allows for review of the information entered. If any information is incorrect, click the “back” button on the browser menu to make changes.
Click the Submit Request button
The Signature Page displays. This page contains a message verifying that the transcript request has been logged.
Click on the UM-Dearborn Connect icon.
Click on Enter Secure Area.
In the User ID field, enter your 8-digit UMID with no dashes or spaces
In the PIN field, enter your personal identification number (PIN).
