UM-Dearborn's School of Management forms partnership with Distributed Computing Consultants

DEARBORN--- The University of Michigan-Dearborn School of Management's Center for Emerging Business Issues (CEBI) recently entered into a partnership with Distributed Computing Consultants, Inc. (DCCI) of Clarkston to help promote excellence in the information technology industry.

"Affiliation with businesses like DCCI help the center to integrate more research-based, interdisciplinary study of management theory and practices," said Mike Clay, director of the Center for Emerging Business Issues at UM-Dearborn.

DCCI's mission is to help organizations achieve their business objectives by utilizing the industry's best people and practices to improve the manageability, effectiveness and efficiency of IT environments.

"With the ever-increasing interest in the application of information technology to improve business processes, companies like DCCI are critical in helping the School of Management improve our education offerings in terms of executive education and traditional academic programs as well as expand the breadth of our research and consulting capabilities," according to Gary Waissi, School of Management dean at UM-Dearborn.

The CEBI has created a total of seven affiliation agreements with regionally based businesses.
