Biography and Education

Tony DeGenaro (MFA, University of San Francisco) is an actively performing and publishing poet. At UM-Dearborn, he teaches Composition & Creative Writing courses. He is also a graduate student instructor at Wayne State University, where he is perusing a PhD in Rhetoric & Composition. Most recently, he has had poems published in Da Lo Magazine and The Ibis Head Review. He will quote Hamilton: An American Musical in his syllabi. His interests (read: obsessions) include Detroit's own Jack White, baseball, and coffee.
