Biography and Education
Bethany Hedden is a systems builder and community organizer committed to social, economic, and racial justice with over eight years of experience teaching, engaging communities, developing and implementing local strategies, and building relationships of reciprocity. Hedden has been instructing social work courses at the University of Michigan-Dearborn since January 2016. She is committed to cultivating a brave classroom community that is inclusive, inquisitive, participatory, and supports the necessary examination and discussion of ourselves, the past, and the present to transform our world into a more just and equitable home for all.
