Biography and Education

Gerald Holowicki, Lecturer IV of Supply Chain Management (SCM) and Information Systems Management (ISM) at the University of Michigan-Dearborn College of Business. Prior to joining the faculty in 2008, Holowicki ran his own consulting firm for eleven years with a major focus on educating and advising companies throughout North America on SCM best practices and on ISM issues. This was preceded by a career at Unisys with three years in Operations leadership and fifteen years in ISM. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from University of Michigan, Ann Arbor and a Master’s degree in Business Information Systems from Eastern Michigan University, Ypsilanti, Michigan. He has received certification from APICS. Mr. Holowicki teaches in all areas of SCM and occasionally in ISM. His current consulting includes a major focus on Lean Supply Chains.
