Biography and Education

Jill Darling has a Ph.D. in 20th century American Literature and Culture and has taught academic and creative writing, literature, and other courses at schools in Colorado, Connecticut, Detroit, and even in Ontario, Canada. She writes poetry, creative and critical essays, and a bit of short fiction. Her books include (re)iteration(s), a geography of syntax, Solve For, and a few chapbooks. She’s had creative and critical writing published in Entropy, the quint, Ethos: A Digital Review of the Humanities, Hybrid Pedagogy, Something on Paper, How2, The Denver Quarterly, /NOR, Gertrude, in the collection Engaging 21st Century Writers with Social Media, and more. Darling teaches several different writing courses at UM-Dearborn.
