Michele Yoder, Assistant Professor of Strategy at the University of Michigan-Dearborn College of Business. Michele joined the University of Michigan–Dearborn faculty in 2011 as an Assistant Professor of Strategic Management. She earned a Ph.D. in Strategy/Organization Theory from University of Wisconsin – Madison, as well as an M.B.A. from University of Wisconsin – Whitewater (Management & Finance) and a B.S. in Business Administration from Thomas Edison State College. She teaches Strategic Management at the undergraduate level.
Michele conducts research exploring the relationships between executive compensation and firm outcomes such as firm risk, M&A activity, and firm performance. She is a member of the Academy of Management and the Strategic Management Society. Her work has been published in the Journal of Management and she has presented papers at the AOM and SMS conferences. Prior to joining academia, she worked in retail management and several different positions in the healthcare and pharmaceutical fields, including training, project management, data collection, quality control, and patient care.
