Biography and Education

Dr. Hristova received her B.S. degree in mathematics from Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski," Bulgaria and her Ph.D. in mathematics from Texas A&M University. Before joining UM-Dearborn, she was a postdoctoral associate at the Institute for Mathematics and its Applications, University of Minnesota.

Dr. Hristova's research interests lie in the general area of numerical analysis and differential equations with emphasis on inverse problems, particularly those related to imaging techniques.
