Arifa Javed
Dr. Arifa K. Javed is a comparative and applied sociologist at the University of Michigan-Dearborn. Social dynamics revolving around cultural issues has always been the focus of her research. Her recent areas of research interest include immigration, acculturation, changing family dynamics, and challenges of parenting.

Jodie Ledford, M.Ed., B.S. HR
Jodie Ledford is the Senior Internship and Career Consultant for the State of Michigan Civil Service Commission engaging academic institutions, individuals and government departments to lead the State of Michigan Internship Program initiative.   

Philip Gardner
Dr. Philip Gardner is Director of the Collegiate Employment Research Instiiute at the Michigan State University.

Teach and Learn in Korea Program 

Do you want to travel and live in South Korea while you teach English?

Do you want to have free airfare, free accommodations and a monthly stipend of approximately $1,500?

You must be a US citizen and at a junior class level or greater to apply.  All majors are accepted and no teaching experience is required! You will teach 15 hours per week, 60 hours per month!
