CASL advisors are available to provide curricular and career option information, program requirements, University policies and procedures, and campus resources.
See Academic Handbook for CASL Students, PDF, below.
All communication is done through your UM-D email account, thus set up and check your account regularly. Recognition of your scholarship by the Dean’s List, temporary registration holds, as well as academic discipline decisions are sent by email only.
Advisors are prepared to assist you in reaching your educational goals, as well as monitoring progress toward completing a degree. The office maintains a records folder for each CASL student and an advisor will assist with paperwork such as petitions, declaring or changing your major or minor, or entering prerequisite overrides. For an overview of advising services, the liberal arts education, policies, and semester deadline, see the Academic Handbook for CASL Students (PDF).
