Test Your Connectivity and Equipment
UM-Dearborn has created a public Canvas demo site for faculty and students to verify device internet connectivity and compatibility with Canvas and some of our integrated services.
Canvas is the home for all online courses, as well as some assignments, discussions, and resources for hybrid and on-campus classes. This Canvas portal page will provide you with up-to-date Canvas policies, help & support, and other more specific information for faculty and students.
Most Canvas features will work and give the best user experience with the web browsers installed on the devices; however, mobile browsers are not officially supported by Canvas. Canvas has both iOS and Android mobile apps available (and different apps for student or faculty functionality), though the mobile apps are very limited and may not be able to display all content, assignments, quizzes, etc.
IMPORTANT: Using a web browser on a desktop or laptop computer (not a tablet or mobile device) is highly recommended for most activity, most importantly when viewing videos, taking quizzes, or submitting assignments in Canvas.
