Alumni Success

We are pleased to announce that our recent graduates are finding teaching positions within southeast Michigan.

The pattern of new hire data from the Michigan Department of Education shows the school locations for UM-Dearborn alumni who were hired as first, second or third year teachers. Approximately 80 percent of UM-Dearborn graduates choose to stay in Michigan. Our graduates also successfully pay back their student loans. The UM-Dearborn student loan three-year default rate is 5.6 percent.
