MLK Events

To commemorate the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. UM-Dearborn hosts a myriad of events and programs each year in the first weeks of January. Volunteers from across campus and the surrounding community come together to lend a helping hand and inspire long lasting and positive change throughout the Metro Detroit area. Volunteers will have the option to serve in person or work remotely to support community agencies in fulfilling their valuable missions.

In addition, a Peace Walk is hosted with engaging speakers who will lead conversations on challenging topics, and training to improve our bystander intervention skills.

For more information, visit the MLK Week of Events webpage or reach out to the Race, Ethnicity, Intercultural, & Intersectional Identities Program Manager.
