Welcome to the Environmental Interpretive Center

The EIC is a University of Michigan-Dearborn facility that promotes environmental sustainability through community education and scientific research. The Center is the gateway to the 300-acre Environmental Study Area available to university students, school groups, and the public.


What’s New

New Parking Rules Implemented



Visitor parking is available in the 3rd level of the Monteith Parking Structure adjacent to the Center. There is now a $0.50 per hour parking fee payable at the self-serve kiosk on that level. There is a bus drop-off/pick-up area in front of the Center.
