The Mardigian Library makes Database updates

African American Newspapers, 1827-1998

Covering over one and a half centuries of the African American experience, this database features newspapers from over 35 states. Approximately 270 newspapers published in the U.S. are indexed, including many rare, historically significant 19th century titles.

COS (Community of Scientists)

COS is a suite of Web-based products and services to help academics and researchers promote their work, find funding, access experts, and consult with colleagues world-wide. It includes COS Expertise, which has 500,000 profiles of researchers from 1,600 institutions, and COS Funding Opportunities, a funding resource with more than 25,000 records representing over $33 billion in total funding.

Hispanic American Newspapers, 1808-1980

This is the largest compilation of Spanish-language newspapers printed in the United States during the 19th and 20th centuries. It features hundreds of Hispanic American newspapers with a number of obscure and forgotten titles published in the 19th century.

Oxford Journals

The Oxford Journals database has over 230 academic and research journals and covers a broad range of subject areas. Two-thirds of the articles are published in collaboration with learned societies or other international organizations.
