One day with Tomas Mauricio

March 11, 2016

Tomas Mauricio walks down the hallway, greeting seemingly everyone by first name. Forming close bonds are a perk of getting involved on campus, he says. The fourth-year psychology student works in the Office for Student Engagement—which means he's attending campus events several times a week—and is a member of Tau Kappa Epsilon.

“There are so many opportunities and organizations on campus that anyone can join. Everyone can be involved,” he said. “This may be a commuter campus to some, but UM-Dearborn is home to me—and there's nowhere I'd rather be.”

We followed Mauricio around campus Monday, March 7, to take a peek inside his daily life. Photos by Millard Berry. Hover over photos for captions.
