University of Michigan-Dearborn’s College of Business (COB) has two of the country’s top online graduate programs, according to recent rankings by U.S. News & World Report. COB’s online MBA program is ranked second in the state. The college also ranks third in the state for “Best Online Graduate Business Programs, Non-MBA.”

COB Dean Raju Balakrishnan said the rankings affirm that the college is providing an education that works for students.

“The College of Business continues to gain recognition on a national scale because we understand students’ desire for both flexible programs and academic excellence,” Balakrishnan said. “The flexibility and convenience of online courses allow students to gain a graduate degree while working full-time and/or raising a family.”

U.S. News & World Report based its most recent online graduate programs rankings on statistical data provided by the participating institutions and peer assessment.

The publication surveyed 282 online MBA programs and 165 non-MBA graduate programs for this year’s rankings. UM-Dearborn’s highest data category rankings for each program were for admissions selectivity and student services and technology.
