The publication recognized UM-Dearborn’s College of Business (COB) for having the second best part-time MBA program in Michigan in its “Best Graduate Schools” edition released this week.

“Most graduate students have demanding lives as they try to balance work, class and other personal obligations,” said Raju Balakrishnan, dean of the College of Business. “That’s why our part-time MBA program is designed to accommodate the busiest of schedules. Being ranked once again among the nation’s best part-time MBA programs is continued evidence of the university’s overall dedication to academic excellence.”

The publication based its rankings on five factors: average peer assessment score; average GMAT score and average GRE quantitative and verbal scores of part-time MBA students entering in fall 2014; average undergraduate GPA; work experience; and percentage of the business school’s fall 2014 MBA enrollment that is part time.

In January, U.S. News & World Report also recognized COB for having the state’s top online graduate programs (excluding MBA). The online MBA program was ranked third in Michigan. In a separate ranking, The Princeton Review recognized COB as a “Best Business School” for a sixth consecutive year.
