When Jerry Hale isn’t leading the College of Arts, Sciences, and Letters, he’s likely behind the lens of a camera capturing nature’s beauty.
Six of the CASL dean’s photos recently appeared in a juried exhibition, which runs through March 2 at the Padzieski Art Gallery in Dearborn. Four of Hale’s photos were recognized, including three honorable mentions and a second-place award in the color photo category.
A panoramic shot of a hayfield in the Upper Peninsula, named “Pure 906,” earned Hale second-place honors. The photo’s title is a play off the Pure Michigan campaign and the area code in the U.P.
