External Awards
Chris Mi, Electrical and Computer Engineering, received a $999,981 contract from the U.S. Department of Energy. This award will fund the establishment of a Graduate Automotive Technology Education Center of Excellence for Electric Drive Transportation at the University of Michigan-Dearborn.
Ann Lampkin-Williams, Assistant to the Chancellor for Inclusion, received a $45,891 grant from the State of Michigan. This award will fund year one of the College Day GEAR UP program. The GEAR UP program is designed to improve high school graduation rates of low income students and prepare them for success in their postsecondary education.
Human Subject Requests from Non-University Researchers
Faculty members often receive requests from non-University of Michigan-Dearborn researchers who are interested in conducting research activities on our campus. Request to conduct any type of human subject research activity from a non-University of Michigan-Dearborn researcher can be forwarded to the Dearborn Research Office ([email protected]) for processing.
