Habib Ammari, associate professor in Computer and Information Sciences, transferred a $246,818 grant from the National Science Foundation to the University of Michigan Dearborn. This funding supports the final two years of a project that focuses on the analysis, design and implementation of real world applications for wireless sensor network configurations using mobility-enabled sensors.
The deadline for the final round of Tenure Track and Lecturer Professional Development Grants is on May 15. The maximum award is $550 and funds may be used for a variety of professional development activities including, but not limited to, the purchase of books or software, CRLT courses, distance learning workshops or seminars, and travel to professional meetings.
