Row, row, row your boat...

Six student organizations participated in cardboard boat races as part of the inaugural Homecoming Week Barbecue, sponsored by UM-Dearborn's Homecoming Committee and held by the Chancellor's Pond on Oct. 14.

Students from Theta Tau, ITM Club, Beta Alpha Psi, Alpha Omega Epsilon, Wolf Pack and the American Marketing Association competed to win awards in the following categories: fastest team, best-dressed team, most-spirited team, best-designed boat and the Titanic award for the best sinking.

The winners were:

Theta Tau - Speed Demon
Wolf Pack - Titanic and Best Dressed
American Marketing Association - Best Design
ITM Club - Most Spirited
