SOAR Program hosts Winter Wine Glow Feb. 22

February 13, 2012

The College of Arts, Sciences, and Letters will host its annual fundraiser to support the Student Outreach and Academic Resources (SOAR) program Feb. 22 at Dearborn Hills Golf Club.

What’s better than chocolate and wine?

How about chocolate, wine and philanthropy?

They’re all on the menu at this year’s UM-Dearborn Winter Wine Glow.

The College of Arts, Sciences, and Letters will host its annual fundraiser to support the Student Outreach and Academic Resources (SOAR) program Feb. 22 at Dearborn Hills Golf Club.

The SOAR program provides adult learners with financial and academic support so they can earn their degree from UM-Dearborn. That’s where Winter Wine Glow comes into play.

Tickets for the event cost $30, but proceeds benefit the SOAR Critical Difference Fund.

And aside from benefiting the program, guests can indulge on hors d’oeuvres, desserts and wine. A variety of items, including restaurant certificates and hotel stays, also will be auctioned off throughout the night.
