UM-Dearborn Athletics Hall of Fame inducts inaugural class

University of Michigan-Dearborn inducted the inaugural class of the Athletics Hall of Fame during a banquet ceremony on Thursday, June 14.

The Hall of Fame Class of 2018 includes some of the most distinguished names in UM-Dearborn Wolverine history, including three former student-athletes, a longtime coach and an influential former athletics director. The inductees are:

• Diane Calliway, Women's Basketball (1984-88);
• Mike Gibson, Women's Volleyball Head Coach (1983-2013);
• Jesse Hubenschmidt, Men's Ice Hockey (1992-1996);
• Pat Hughes, Men's Basketball (1993-97); and
• Peggy Foss, UM-Dearborn Director of Athletics & Recreation (1990-2004).
