Academic ranking authorities U.S. News & World Report and Poets&Quants recognized UM-Dearborn’s programs.
In September, U.S. News & World Report released their annual guide to American colleges and universities and again ranked UM-Dearborn among the best in the Midwest. Today they included UM-Dearborn in their rankings of nearly 1,800 online programs.
This time U.S. News includes the College of Engineering & Computer Science’s online master’s in Information Systems and Technology, CECS’s online master’s in Engineering, the College of Education and Health and Human Services online master’s in Education, the College of Business’s online MBA and COB’s online master’s in Business (excluding MBA) among the best.
Curious about the methodology? U.S. News explains it.
CECS’s online graduate degree in Information Systems and Technology is the No. 2 listed Michigan-based college program and No. 46 overall. COB’s online master’s in Business (non-MBA) is ranked as third in the state and No. 66 overall.
COB’s online MBA program — ranked in the No. 3 spot out of state’s public university MBA programs — is also recognized on the top program for veterans list, which showcases universities that make pursuing a college education more affordable for veterans and active-duty service members. If you are a service member or veteran interested in learning about the campus or degree programs, contact Veterans Affairs Coordinator Tom Pitock. For students interested in part-time graduate school, UM-Dearborn is ranked second in the state for the part-time campus MBA.
This isn't the first time this academic year that COB programs have been recognized. In fall 2022, Poets&Quants, a leading online publication for business education news, ranked the online MBA No. 24 in the US — up from No. 49 the previous year — and called UM-Dearborn’s program a best online MBA program of 2023.
