Campus in Focus: The start of fall at UM-Dearborn

In this new monthly series, UM-Dearborn Photographer Matthew Stephens documents university life and happenings around UM-Dearborn. From the Fall Career Fair to vibrant autumn scenes, here is a collection of moments from the past month.

Campus is beautiful this time of year. Take a walk outside to see vibrant fall colors like these outside the CASL Building on Oct. 23.

The book by Robin Wall Kimmerer sparked conversations on how to weave Indigenous knowledge into university life. “Braiding Sweetgrass” complements new and updated projects around campus that honor Indigenous traditions, including Native gardens, an interpretive trail focused on medical uses of trees, Anishinaabe art and a land acknowledgement.
