SAVE THE DATE: 2nd annual Engagement Incubator - Dec. 3
Mark your calendars for the second annual Engagement Incubator, hosted by the Office of Community Engaged Learning and Global Engagement. It will take place from 4 to 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 3.
The Engagement Incubator is a space for community partners and faculty to build collaborations for engaged coursework and research projects.
Any faculty and community partnerships and projects that grow from this event will be given priority in the 2027 OCEL Seed Grant cycle and 2027 SURE applications.
Community partners include: LAHC, Brilliant Detroit, Transportation Riders United, City of Dearborn - Department of Economic Development, Arab American National Museum and more.
An email with an RSVP will be sent out to faculty in October.
Reserve the Ford Collaboratory space for your engagement needs
The Ford Collaboratory, located on the first floor of the Mardigian Library, is home to the offices of Community-Engaged Learning and Global Engagement. Did you know that faculty, community partners, and students can use the space too?
Built in 2013 with grant funds from Ford Motor Company, the Ford Collaboratory was designed intentionally to be the perfect space for community engagement. The space has moveable furniture, a large screen for zoom meetings or presentations, and coffee, tea, and snacks perfect for hosting engaged meetings and events.
Faculty are also welcome to reserve the space for printing and co-working, during select office hours.

- Meet with your community-engaged research team
- Prepare for your community-engaged course
