Help People Overcome Personal and Social Challenges
The minor in human services gives you maximum flexibility to choose courses that meet your personal interests and professional goals. Courses are drawn from the fields of social work, counseling, addiction and recovery services, and child life.
Only one course, Introduction to Social Work, is required. You choose from 16 courses to fill the minor’s remaining 12 credits. Your choices include courses about how children play, working with vulnerable populations, helping families, medicine and addiction, program evaluation, and fundraising and grant writing, among others.
