Athletics
Once a Wolverine, always a Wolverine.

Student-athletes at UM-Dearborn are proud to wear Michigan’s Maize and Blue.
UM-Dearborn is a member of the National Association for Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA). Eight of our nine varsity teams compete in the Division II Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference against our regional rivals like Concordia, Aquinas and Northwestern Ohio. Our men’s ice hockey team competes in the Division I Great Lakes Collegiate Hockey League of the American Collegiate Hockey Association.
We also offer seven club sports and a variety of intramurals, from men’s and women’s bowling to co-ed broomball.
If you’re not an athlete, but you want to stay active, take advantage of the weights, machines and classes offered at the Wellness Center.

As soon as I started classes as a freshman, I was determined to become a part of my new community. I joined student organizations, introduced myself to new people and went to as many sporting events as I could.— Jordan Wohl, ‘20 Political Science
