Health and Wellness

We promote healthy living in every aspect of campus life.

Walking paths and beautiful natural areas shape our campus, which has been smoke-free since 2011. Through the MHealthy initiative, we have improved our nutritious food and beverage options across campus

Get Active

The Wellness Center, located inside the Fieldhouse, is open to all current students, faculty and staff. It features cardio equipment, free weights, weight machines, men’s and women’s locker rooms, two racquetball courts and a dance studio that holds various fitness classes.

Find Support

Healthy living means physical, mental and emotional well-being. We provide a range of services to ensure that all students receive equal access to the support they need to thrive on and off campus.

The Student Food Pantry provides temporary food assistance to students in need.

Registered UM-Dearborn students are eligible for personal counseling at no charge. Counseling is available to faculty and staff through the Faculty and Staff Assistance Program (FASAP).

Disability and Accessibility Services (DAS) are available to help students with disabilities participate in every part of mainstream college life.

The University of Michigan has a Domestic Student Health Insurance Program (DSHIP).
