Information Systems Security, Minor

Help Protect Critical Information From Attack

Amid seemingly constant cyberattacks against business and government computer systems, demand for professionals who can protect critical data has never been higher. Add information security skills to your program at the University of Michigan-Dearborn with a minor from the College of Business.

The 15-credit minor consists of five upper-level courses, four of them required and one an elective. The required courses cover information systems in management, networking, information technology security, and digital security. You choose the elective from eight options and explore topics like business application programming, database systems, and information visualization.
