Study the Intersection of the Local and the Global

In today’s environment, global issues are local and local issues are global. Understanding and responding to the most pressing issues we face at this intersection is the focus of our minor or integrative studies concentration at the University of Michigan-Dearborn.

The program consists of 15 credits of courses you choose across disciplines from a small list. They cover topics such as history of the Holocaust, the development of urban America, film history, the history and politics of the European Union, gender roles, the psychological aspects of joining an organization, and psychology in the workplace.
