Pay Your Undergraduate Enrollment Deposit

Upon admission to the University of Michigan-Dearborn, undergraduate students are required to submit a $50 Enrollment Deposit. Graduate students: your deposit information.
This deposit signals your intent to enroll, reserves your space for the semester, and will be credited to your student account and applied toward your tuition. Enrollment deposits are non-refundable.
You will not be able to register for Orientation until the enrollment deposit has been paid.
Deposit Deadline:
The deadline for your deposit is listed below specific to your entry semester. However, we encourage you to submit your deposit as soon as possible to secure your place and be eligible to register for orientation.
- Fall: May 1 (recommended), August 15 (final)
- Winter: December 1
- Summer: April 1

- Once in your portal, select "View Your Decision"
- Select "Reply to Offer"
- Select "Accept Offer"
- Follow prompts to pay deposit

Important Notice for International Students
The U.S. government currently restricts entry for citizens of certain countries under an active travel policy. Individuals subject to these restrictions are not eligible to receive an F-1 student visa and may be unable to enter the United States or enroll on campus at UM-Dearborn while the policy remains in effect.
Please note that the undergraduate enrollment deposit is non-refundable, including in cases where a student is unable to obtain a visa due to federal travel restrictions.

Enrollment Deposit Waiver
All admitted freshmen and transfers are required to submit an enrollment deposit. A waiver, granted in cases of financial hardship, allows a student to complete Orientation and other enrollment steps without paying the deposit.
